DON'T FORGET TO WATCH THE VIDEOS!

Creating a run sheet for your wedding can be overwhelming if you don't know what events to prioritise or how much time to devote to each. That is why we have created a small guide to assist you in creating your own personal run sheet, which you can customise to best suit YOUR DAY!

It is critical to have a clear run sheet that includes the times of all events and their respective locations, as well as travel time. This is important not only for you and your bridal party, but it also helps your vendors work more efficiently. Before formalities, videographers need more time than photographers (30 minutes) to set up our tripods and audio equipment.

Groom Getting Ready

1-1.5 Hours

Our coverage will begin as soon as we arrive at the preparation location. We'll start with specifics like suits, watches, and gifts, basically everything you're wearing (No such thing as too much footage to us). The groomsmen will then assist the groom in getting dressed while we capture them candidly having fun. Each groomsman can assist the groom with a piece of clothing; this may be the groom's last time being dressed by another man! If parents are present, we like to involve them and help their son prepare for the final time.

Tips:

  1. Please leave out: suit, shoes, cufflinks, watch, tie, socks, cologne and anything else the groom will be wearing before getting dressed.

  2. If parents are at the same location - make sure they are dressed and ready.

Bride Getting Ready

1.5-2 hours

Similar to the grooms, before getting changed we’ll take some shots of all your details and accessories. We'll then pop a bottle of champagne with your bridesmaids to celebrate the planning leading up to this day! Bridesmaids will then get dressed before the bride, that way the bride can get assistance from the bridesmaids when getting dressed. If parents are around we can also do a first look, capturing your parent's reaction seeing their big girl for the first time in her dress.

Tips:

  1. To maximize your coverage, make sure the bride and the bridal party have already completed their makeup once we arrive, this way we can start shooting straight away without delays.

  2. Please hang or place your dress where you want it to be shot, or else we will find a suitable location to showcase your dress around the house (sorry in advance if we move your furniture).

  3. Please leave out: Dress, shoes, bouquet, jewellery, invitation, perfume and anything else special.

  4. Have Parents fully dressed and ready.

Traditions  1-2 hours

(e.g. Tea ceremony) (hours depending on the number of guests)

Just before the groom arrives at the bride's location to show his worthiness to become her husband, we will mic up the groom (just in case he ends up having to sing or cry from wasabi). Games will generally last for 30 minutes, tea ceremony will generally take 1 hour.

Notes:

  1. If at two locations, please take into account travel time.

  2. Create a list of family members receiving the tea.

  3. Video call the bride when groomsmen attempt games.

Ceremony

Ceremony

30-60 minutes

The time has come! The groom’s palms are starting to sweat as he waits patiently for the bride to arrive down the aisle. As we capture the bride exiting the car assisted by her father or someone special to her, we will have multiple cameras primed and ready for the groom’s reaction. As soon as those doors open, our second videographer will focus on capturing your guests’ reactions, especially your family and even dogs if they’re there. After exchanging your vows and promises, finish it off with a kiss as official partners. While the photographer does group photos with you, we’ll sneak around capturing your guests.

Notes:

  1. Have a set interval on the bridesmaids walking down the aisle.

  2. When it’s finally your turn, relax, take your time walking down the aisle, IT'S YOUR DAY!

  3. Bridal party standing on the side, make sure to not curve in too much, as this can block our cameras and your guest.

  4. Before everyone starts running off after you walk down the aisle, your photographer can organise the group photo and family photos, while your guests are still around.

Location shoot

3 hours

We will take this time to go off to a few locations, depending on your preference and the weather. Popular locations in Victoria includes: Parliament, Fitzroy Gardens, RMIT Hub, Brighton Beach and Woolrich lookout. At these locations, we will first have some fun using prompts to get the bridal party altogether laughing, then after we will shoot the newly wedded couple alone.

Notes:

  1. If there are particular scenes you would like, please tell us in advance so we can prepare for it.

  2. The more time allocated the better, as it allows us to be more creative.

  3. If you don’t know where to go, we can provide suggestions and map it out for you, to save you some time.

Reception

(no locked in time, depends how long you’re willing to party)

YAYAY party time! As soon as we arrive at the venue, depending on location and weather, we will fly the drone to capture exterior shots of your venue and location, then we will use a combination of wide and tight shots to capture the interior of your venue such as tables, decorations, flowers, gifts and all small things that matter to you (we shoot everything). Once this is done we will sneak around capturing your guests before they enter. Generally, formalities such as cake cutting are done after the bridal entrance then followed up by speeches, dances, garter and bouquet toss plus any other tradition you may have. We will stay till the very end to wish everyone a goodnight!

Tips:

  1. All speakers please speak into the microphone, aligning the microphone to your chin.

  2. Speakers, please don’t move too much, best to speak from a podium. This stops speakers from continuously being out of frame.

  3. If you have any special requests for events, please let us know beforehand so we can prepare accordingly.

7:00pm Bridal Entrance + Cut Cake

   7:15pm Entre
